First of all, this game will only be starting with Werewolf Characters for our Players. You can play a Stargazer since this is the Wild West setting and they haven't left the Garou Nation yet, just so you know. However, due to us playing on the "Wyrmcommers", you cannot begin play as an Uktena or Wendigo. Red Talons, and a few others, may require Kudos to play, but are accessable (for more information on that, check the Kudos page). Also, in case you had to ask, you cannot play a White Howler, Black Spiral Dancer, Croatian, or Bunyip.

There are some restrictions on the Influences that you can start with in our game. This is mainly to prevent characters ending up with influences that are unaccounted for by the Storyteller. If it's in this list, you can probably have it... and if you have it, you can use it... thus is the beauty of having the Background in the first place.
- Burrocracy (Up to 4)
- Church (Up to 3): Must be an active member of the church to use this influence.
- Finance (Up to 4): You must have at least a One Point in Resources. Also your level of influence can not exceed your Recourses by more than Two.
- Health (Up to 3): May need to pay bribes when used.
- High Society* (Up to 5): Must have Etiquette of 2 or more, and might need to buy cloths for gatherings.
- Industry** (Up to 3): May need to pay bribes in order to influence.
- Larcenous (Up to 4): May need to commit crimes or other underhanded events to increase influence.
- Law Enforcement (Up to 6): Beyond 4 points, you will have to have a story hook for events.
- Legal (1 to 2): Needs special approval and reason for influence. Can get Up to 5 points in Legal, but not without extended background, or being an Iron Rider.
- Low Down (Up to 4): May be asked to help out the lower classes.
- News Papers (Up to 4): Will have to be able to read.
- Occult (Up to 6): Need to have points in 2 points in Occult (Ability) per each point in the influence.
- Politics (Up to 4): Will have to be Role-Played out for some uses.
- Railroad (Up to 4): Use might have to be fully Role-Played and other limitations may apply.
- Scolerly (Up to 6): Must be able to read.
- Transportaion (Up to 7): Limmitations based on the level of influence used.
- Tribal: Not Applicable for Player Characters.
